Ray Atkeson was climbing and shooting still photos with his heavy speed graphic camera and four by five
negative in 1933 before the invention of the chairlift. With a great eye for composition and beauty,
he captured dramatic landscapes primarily throughout the Northwest and Hawaii. Ray was awarded many
prestigious such as Oregon's Photographer Laureate and the Photographic Hall of Fame.
